Breaking: Police arrest Kano deputy governor for allegedly disrupting collation process

Kano state deputy governor, Nasiru Gawuna, and the state's commissioner for local governments, Murtala Sule Garo, have been arrested by the men of the Nigeria Police Force.

The men were allegedly arrested for attempting to disrupt the collation of result at Nassarawa local government area of the state.

The Nasarawa local government result is the last to be collated by the INEC out of the 44 local government areas in the state.

The police said journalists will be briefed about the incident on Monday morning.
