              The past speaks to the future
Greetings to you from the stable of Pathfinder. We thank God for His mercy over our lives, for keeping us through 2016. As we start the journey of 2017, may His fullness walk with us in Jesus name.
Today, we shall take a little bit step backward to see from the past.  It is important as people of God who are always marching towards fulfilling the high purpose, to sit at times and critically analyse their past in order to see the future. I must make it clear here that this is not a point of reference to the past. In the spiritual realm, your past is gone but in the natural realm, your historical account is essential. This is the strategy of early seekers.
Some of us tried many failed concepts last year, some fought personal and intra personal wars and were brutally defeated. It is now another chance to do them over again. But for us to succeed, we must be able to let the past speak to the future. Learning from the past will give you a clue to winning the future. The future is here and you must learn fast.
This year is a new page, take this opportunity to make your life anew. Quickly flash back, look at your journey last year, see for yourself where you fail and some challenges that broke your jaw bones. Identify one reason that warranted your failure. Then tell yourself that I will win this year. Most of us don't know that life challenges don't allow us to escape them. You must stay and face your challenge. It won't allow you to move forward until you prevail. This is why some of us keep doing the same thing until we overcome. In school curriculum, a student cannot be promoted until he passes his class. This is also the game of life. You must win a battle before you experience a new breath. Therefore, don't run away from what you tried last year, that might be one point of success. You may just have to take a look around to seeing a new approach to it. The road to success is always a singular path. You must endure the pain of taking that one and only road.
However, if you are preparing to be in the wining side this year, please learn from your past before you move forward. It is only a fool that will not learn from what falls him. Remember to always commit your ways unto God. He is the best assurance. You shall succeed this year.
