Nigerian Christians reacted today to an attempt to arrest Apostle Suleman by DSS in Ekiti State.
A report wired every corner of the country earlier today that the federal government of Nigeria has issued arrest warrant against the man of God, Apostle Suleman for criticising the recent killings of Christians in Kaduna State. The man of God recently claimed that some set of Herdsmen are threatening to take his life. He said to have received several phone calls that warned him to be strictly conscious because Fulani herdsmen are targeting him.
A recent video went viral online which showed Apostle Suleman addressing his congregation to kill any Fulani who make an attempt to come near him or his church. The statement has been criticised by Nigerians which some people found out to be bitter truth. The stand of the man of God is that federal government has failed to provide adequate security to protect the lives of the citizens. He was of the opinion that Nigerians cannot continue to trust federal government that allowed killings of many Christians in the northern state for their lives.
However, a report revealed today that the DSS of Ekiti state had made an attempt to arrest the man of God after his crusade last night. The attempted arrest was thwarted by the Èkìtì state governor, governor Fayose who claimed that the arrest warrant issue by the federal government is unfair.
A fresh report reaching us now is that Christians are protesting against the arrest warrant issue by the federal government to capture the man of God.
Until now, federal government has not said anything to this development.
