It's the grace of God that kept us thus far. We sincerely appreciate everyone who is part of our just concluded series of godly life making lesson *"Five things to know when pursuing destiny"*. It's our prayer that you will fulfill destiny in Jesus name.
God is leading us through a very cogent point in the next few weeks as well. We shall be looking at CHARACTER as the basis for better Living, be it in an individual daily pursuit or for a global effective change. You should not miss any of these lessons as you will be seeing the reason for the state of your life as God will be revealing yourself to you. You are blessed.
Character is one of the most commonly used words in the world. In fact, it's one of the most studied topics. Many academic icons especially in the area of Psychology have studied character. This is to tell us that character is a very essential part of life that we cannot joke with. Academic wise, character is the way someone thinks, feels, and behaves : someone's personality. Character is our tradition or the way we do things. The most important thing to notice here is that character forms our lives. What individuals of us become is as a result of our character. *The way we reason, the way we feel things should be done. The way we perceived to be treated and the way we think people should treat us. The way we see the form of life. Our response to individual or societal relationship. Our pattern of lives that have formed habits. The level at which we can endure hardship. Our sense of making determinant decisions. And many more of our lives outputs are based on our character.*
It shouldn't surprise us that our religions teach character. Christianity for example is a religion that teaches godly character. The Bible teaches us heavenly culture from the beginning to the end. All these are signs that our global world is in malady today because we failed to recognise that our lives are based on character. God has formed our lives in this pattern that we cannot out live character. It's our level of good or bad character that determines what our lives will be and what our society reflects.
So, as God is working on global change. He is looking for people with godly character that will take up the world society. *He is looking for leaders with character. He is looking for Pastors with character. He is looking Politicians with character. He is looking for Accountants with character.* Will you make yourself available? God wants us to form a character based world. It's this process that can lift us individually and our nation at large.
*The secret behind character is that God will never bless your life beyond what your character can conceive. Character is everything.*Therefore, in our subsequent lessons, we shall be looking at our involvements with character and how we can build a better life through it. I pray that God will bring us from where we are to where we need to be in Jesus name.
